ok, having finally gotten my lara back from the mechanic yesterday

got it filled with royal purple max atf. tracy, if you're still reading this thread, how many miles ago did you refill with RP Max ATF? i'm curious if the ATF is similar to the oil in the respect that it will breakdown faster than usual (and since you're SCed, i figure you'll show wear and slippage before a NA application will).

the new auto (came from a scrap yard with 67k miles on the new tranny) feels great, and it feels like i reclaimed some lost power (due to my old tranny crapping out). i can light up the tires from a slight roll (~5 mph), which was not possible before i took it into the shop

and yes, i know i need to stop lighting up my tires, unless i want to demolish another tranny.
