Was goign to have my mechanic resurface the rotors.....then discovered the pass front pads had 1mm, and the drivers just hit the metal. The retard mechanic never put the wear indicator onto the pads to know when they are low.

As if that was not pad enough, check the engine pics....

LOL @ PAD enough.

^ Yup, lol. I've actually been using the same ones for like 1.5 years I think. It was not the ValueCraft, neither were the pads. they were both 1 step up, the bottom Duralast ones.

Oddly enough, I;ve not warped them, but in the same time period, I warped my Brembo Blanks 3 times.

ONLY issue I have is one of them has what looks like hundreds of hairline fractures, but has been liek that for a long time. I was goignto get Brembo again but I needed the rotors same day so just got them.

They are supposed to be the top brand. And for all I know, the warping may have been caused by the HPS Street Pads. When I used the Duralast, I was installing EBC Green. I think I'll install Brembo and EBC when I replace them. I will be interested to know it it warps this time, or if it were just due to the Hawk's.

well its all depending on the pad material that causes the rotors to mess up right??

Several factors.
1: Overtightening of the lugnuts
2: Heat (Long hard braking)
3: Pad material. They all play together often and cause it.

wow didnt know if you over tightend the lugs then it would cause that too.

Yeah, many people do not know it. Lets say 2 lugs are tightened to 130ft/lbs of tourqe, 1 at 115, and the other 2 at 80. It;s uneven pressure. When you do a long hard brake, say down a steep hill for 3 miles int he mountains, the rotors will heat up to a very hight temp. The heat mived with the uneven pressure around the entire rotor causes it to warp. Take a piece of paper, tape all 4 corners to something what will leave most of the center with a space. Put 3 quarters on it in random places. The paper will be stressed in different ways, not evently throughout. thats the best way I can think to explain it, lol. Sorry.
