i got same problem on my 99 solara se. Its been like that for over a year now and i havent bothered getting it fixed. It must be getting worse cuz now when the engine is off i have no brakes whats so ever. If im parked on a hill without my ebrake on nice and tight soon as i press in the clutch my car starts rolling till i get the engine up and running. Its good insentive not to stall when your on a hill and someone is on your ass.

BUMP, sorry for reviving this old thread :) but I'm having the same issue.

But is the brake booster line being mentioned in this thread the same line that I put the Seafoam in (see pic) or does it lead to the brake booster? I want to try installing the gasket before I spend big bucks on a new brake booster.

I also have an Injen SRI, could be common with all of us?

the brake booster is the big round thing behind the master cylinder. there is a large vacuum line coming from the intake to the booster which provides vacuum inside the booster for power brakes.

How hard was it to change the brake booster? About how many hours of work?
