2004 Toyota Solara Discussion

Hmmm, I don't know if I like the perfectly straight crease either. It seems to look a little too basic. I'm just too picky I guess. I think the optimum shape would probably be a slightly curved crease; starting from the front it would gradually get higher, and maybe curve down just a little to meet the tailights in the back. The way it is on the real car looks wierd because it starts out kind of normal, but just kind of swells up all of a sudden and then goes back down all on the back half of the car. It just looks uneven and doesn't flow at all. I just can't get over that lame styling. Since this is my third poost about it though, I'll try. 8)

Car looks nice to a certain extent. :-? It might be the color and car height that doesn't give it a grand welcoming. The car is totally lacking mojo..! Looks like an older persons ride. As is, it feels like I have to try too hard to make it as sporty as I would like it to be. Maybe in a different color, some mods & sportier wheels will make it a sick ride. In my opinion girls look nice too, but it isn't until they transform with all them purdy colors and bondo that they make me so hooony hehe! J/p Car defenitely needs some work to give it that sports car edge. Maybe Toyota should just decide what age group they want to target. Overall it has potential. Hopefully TRD will make it look like Aria Giovanni or some other hot model. But then again, maybe we're just trying to make a car that's not meant to be as sporty as we want it to be. I mean, why not supercharge Echo's while we're at it hehe J/p... Nah, lets stick to Solara's.

if i wanted a "real" sports car, the only Toyota that i would ever consider would be the last generation Supra. Other than that, if you are lookin for sports car performance and looks... look elsewhere folks. Now sports car and luxury for a reasonable price... hmmmm ya Infiniti G35 sports coupe is the way to go (that car is frickin' GOURGEOUS!), especially for the sole reason that it is REAR wheel drive. You are soooooooo limited when you have to work off of a front wheel drive platform. i believe that Toyota does a nice job mixing sport with luxury and everyday driveability.
