chriscarter wrote:True....but those on here are enthusiasts.........when trying to find one on the open market, there just aren't that many V6 5-spds......took me 6 months to find one that I liked out of a very small gene pool.

Took me about 3 months to find mine used. Was not driven by an enthusiast, just a daily commuter. Is it rare? Not relative to my other car.

It took me 6 years to find my 97 maxima gxe 5sp. To me, that was even more rare. I see quite a few Solara v6 5sp.

I've been looking for a Forester turbo 5sp for a year now, no dice.

chriscarter wrote:Yes, that's what makes it so confusing. I posted (tried to anyway) the production number thread twice, but it never appeared!

I'm just trying to find out how rare the V6 with 5-spd combination really is. Sure, I can say "very" or "incredibly", but that doesn't really quantify anything!

Thanks for being neighborly...................CTC

sounds like your trying to sell the car.
well without actual production numbers, all you can really claim is "hard to find".
but in all reality, there are 18 of them on autotrader.com right now.
