I took the jack out and drove around the block and it was still making that sound , so i believe its the loose sway bar link or broken stut mount. Not to be a bother but I'm a novice when it comes to physical mechanics when purchasing a replacement strut mount / sway bar link should I just buy a replacement sway bar at the same time or should my rear sway bar be fine. Just wondering because this sound has been going on for the past 100 miles or so , so i dont imagine that m sway bar if it is the problem is in good shape. Thanks again.

The original sway bar should be fine-- it doesn't really wear out, just the endlinks and bushings. You should only replace it if you are looking for improved handling. In that case, you would be looking for a larger diameter bar. Replacing the original sway bar with another original style will do nothing.
