Air filter n Gas filter too >?

The air filter certainly.

I was running Mexican gas for six straight years when I lived down there and had my fuel filter changed after once not too long after I lived down there and it was pretty dirty. However, after that I started using fuel injector cleaners on a regular basis (monthly) and still have the same filter I ran for most of my years down there. Haven't had trouble since I got back to the U.S. about a year ago.

Another thing I used to examine a lot involving MPG was outside air temperatures. Used to be a big thing for me along with humidity and air pressure when I used to race at the track, but I was well aware of its affects on MPG.

OH ur Amigo ? i worked with Amigo from Mexico at my workplace, they had contract with my Company, we speak a little english but man very fun :) there few mexican in Canada unlike California, i like Mexican girl nice dark skin like my people, they r funny n decent, anyways...back to the topic.

I think Mex gas or Usa gas = the same, all unleaded fuel, maybe the heat or u use too much A/C, check under the Fuel filter and the hose, it might be a gas leak, if ur car drink lotta gas n u fell its powerful than it is normal, u the power is the same n gas shrink too fast, then u should check with the gas part. "When the weather very hot n i use a little A/C, i see my gas is down faster too"

Simple math tells me that i have gotten no better then 16.5 mpg average (18.5 gallon tank). This is very upsetting, especially knowing that my POS Neon got 22 mpg average and it was POS on wheels lol. Everything is stock, it's a V6 SE of course, and i use Mobile 5000 synthetic blend oil. I'm wondering what needs to be addressed. Tune up maybe? I know it's a V6 but i should be at least 22 - 25 mpg average considering at least half my drive is freeway to work n back. Wondering if new spark plugs, spark plug wires will help... What else? And also wondering how much a Injen SRI will help in the matter as well. Your feedback is much appreciated!

did you read my post? I had the exact same issue. I evn had a similar title. you should check it out, but basicly your mpg goese up, the less your foot goes down.

When I wasnt boosted i would average 20mpg, freeway and city 50/50 mix
In the cars current setup im lucky to get 13 mpg, freeway driving only. LOL

By the way, one interesting thing is that my TSX with a 2.4L 4 Cylinder only averages 22 city/freeway and its "rated" at 30 or so

Fun fun, I got 14mpg once. And for a while I was averaging about 17. But I've calmed down and now I get about 23mpg. Do what Dawgs told you above, and calm down your driving a little bit for sure.
Trust me, I'm a technician.
