We have looked and didnt see anything but i mean there is only so much that can be seen through the top. but ill look again. How can i drain it easily besides just running it through the hoses? It is not really ideal to spray my car w/ nasty water then soapy water because we are in a major drought and I cant rinse my car off when im done and I dunno about anyone else but I def dont wanna leave soap residue on my car to bake in the sun.

could always pull the tank completely off of the car and hose it out with soap and water...

I guess in small doses alcohol is ok to use, I wouldn't go too crazy with it though...those products use small amounts of alcohol to prevent freezing, but pure alcohol WILL do rapid damage over time.

If anything, just do what Damon says, take everything apart and wash it, just remember to flush the lines and hoses too.

Or instead of spraying it all over your windshield, disconnect the line from the pump to the nozzles on your hood and let it spray onto the ground (I don't have a FSM or a diagram to show you so you'll have to play it by ear). Then flush it out with some good anti-bacterial solution, this time instead of spraying it onto the ground, spray it into a bucket and keep reusing that solution from the bucket.

You won't fully 100% purge the system (which is impossible to do anyway), but it'll be enough to not be a problem for a while.
