Buying a Solara..

Postby mazen222 » Fri Aug 17, 2007 8:08 am

i bought my 99 v6 SE manual at 6000 CAD @180 Km
It's considered to be a very good catch...

My window regulator broke (150$) and can only be bought at the dealer... theres not much you can do about this.
Other than that, solaras are very good and reliable cars. Sport and luxury at the same time

Check suspensions

goodluck

Hey men sorry for not getting back to you I am working 2 jobs right now and I just got back from out of town a few min ago. Anyways yes I am selling the car need the money for the weeding…
The VIN # 2t1cf22p1yc336677
Yes I had it dyno tuned when I got the car fixed; it puts out 377hp at the crank and about 328-330 to the wheels. The last time I ran a ¼ mile I got 13.9/14.0sec witch is really good J
About the on-board fuel management system… the previous owner (a buddy of mien) had all that installed but when the car got stolen, the onboard fuel management, boost controllers, sound system, gages, interior and some other minor stuff was gone. So when got the car from hem I didn’t put it back on but I replaced all the other stuff with TRD parts... and I also put a bigger pulley that puts out up to 7 ½psi (stock is 4 ¼psi) I put a lot of work and money in to this car it is truly one nice solara and I hate to sell it but I have to…

PS. My friend has a 1999 BMW m3 with mods and a custom LSD... He runs ¼ mile 14.6sec he takes me of start but I pull away from him in mid of second gear, so if you drive well and when you get a hang of the car you will have no problem pulling on m3’s, srt4, mustangs and ect..
