The gen 1.5 with the 2az motor can't do this either... its TBW...

or Drive by wire...

So I tried it today on the way to work..
the shifts are a lil faster.. and I tightened it to where there was about 1/2 cm away from the last thread...
I dont notice quicker accel.. lol cuz I don't push my car much. but the shifting in between gears id for sure a lil faster.

Na, after a full tank of gas my mileage is about the same as always. It really shouldn't affect mpg at all unless you start driving faster. :D

I'm goin' to try this when i get my car back.

have your valve body modified by a shop.. that will give you a "True" shift kit.. this is a bandaid

I did this mod to my old 88 Civic LX, it doesn't make the car faster, just makes the shifts from gear to gear faster or "feel" faster.
