no, actually it is a tribute to my days working at Cabelas and receiving far too many questions about the fabled creature...in my best ozark-backwoods-arkansas accent: "where ar dem derr bunnies with the horns...yeah them jackalopes...do you shoot them thangs in Nebraska?" ah the days of customer service!

now that the 4th has passed, it will be time for a new jackalope to take the wheel...just haven't found the right one yet.

AHHHHhhhhhhh! Cabelas! I make a point to stop in DUNDEE on RT. 23 in MICHIGAN, just north of the Ohio line a short spell. That place is AMAZING!

Believe it or NOT... I HAVE a picture of an actual stuffed Jackalope that I took in Kansas many years ago...


...I'll try to dig it up and scan it for a post. EVERYONE should see the "mythical" jackalope! :wink:
