Odometer 1-20 settings???

No I think the only thing that controls the brightness of DRLs is the resistor under the hood. But check it out on the Sienna, see if any other models do this.
Trust me, I'm a technician.

My Gen2 shows 000000000 and resets MAINT indicator (oil change reminder) if you hold odometer button when turning the ignition. Do Gen1's have MAINT indicator on the instrument panel?

I think this will only work on the same plat form as gen 1 solaras. gen 2s can use it to reset mant light and turn off seat belt chime.

Gen ones we have 1-20 of madness

I set mine to 1 and I checked today it was back on 6. I set it back to one again, then checked to confirm it was on 1 and it still was. I will check it in a few days to see if it goes back to six on its own.

I was playing with a code reader at the time to see if all the moniters were still on and they all were working. I did a reset for fun, it might have put it back to six. I'm not really sure.

I tryed it in an 01 RAV4, nothing happened.

well surprising enough i tried it on a 1998 Toyota Sienna LE v6 1mzfe blah blah and it did the same thing and set to 6. So obviously the default is 6. The gauge cluster also seems to be shared with the camry and with the solara though. So pretty much all 1mz's do this..

edit: sorry not 1mz's all the MC_10 chassis seem to do this?

^ Greek said his avalon has an analog odo, so he can't do this. If that's what you were asking.

EDIT: my bad me and Greek posted at the same time.
