Is it safe to jack up car by oil tank?

Hey y'all, I'm kitted and there's almost no clearance on the sides, even if I drive on blocks. Just wondering, is it safe to jack up the rears by the oil tank?

What oil tank are you talking about??
you are dropped on teins. You should have clearance.
I was dump on coilovers and still had room once I drove on blocks to put a jack on there.

You can also jack up the car are the rear... There is a sub frame in the rear that has a bump meant for a jack. I would NEVER jack my car up on a oil tank IMO

ok guys I'm really trying to say it in the right terms but goddam it I didn't know that I was that incomprehensible lol! By oil tank, I meant gas tank, the big pan that you put your fuel in... is it more clear? lol

or you can get you some of these http://www.amazon.com/Pair-Plastic-400l ... 884&sr=1-3 and prevent any chance of possibly doing damage. I'm pretty sure the gas tank wasnt designed to support 3200lbs

I'm with most people here...no don't jack your car up under the fuel tank!

Ramps like what 1gSE linked to are very useful, especially for things like tightening your endlinks the proper way.
