What kind of alarm do I have?

What kind of alarm do I have?

Postby minig646 » Sun May 01, 2011 5:09 pm

Hey guys,
My old solara (2000 SEV6) used to chirp when when I locked and unlocked it, and my current one (1999 SLEV6) does not. I liked the chirp; its hard to make sure my car is locked on bright days when I can't see the lights.

If I can, I'd like to program it to chirp. I hear the alarm unit is under the driver's seat, but I pulled mine off and nothing was under it. I know I have an alarm, as I set it off on myself quite frequently :D
I did find this under the center console though:

So two questions: what kind of alarm do I have? and can I make it chirp?
Thanks!

1. That pic is way too small to be helpful, but there should be a part number on it
2. I dunno, maybe it doesn't have that feature  But if you find said part number, I'm positive you can find and instruction manual online

All my pictures come out that size, is there a simple trick to making them bigger?

"Theft warning toyota"

I tried searching here and on google with no luck. Didn't most 90's toyotas come with the RS3000 alarm?
