Loss of power at speed

Loss of power at speed

Car's a '99 V6 auto ~186k She runs and drives perfectly, save for this... :-?
I get this seemingly random loss of power only at freeway speeds (55+). It feels as though I let off the gas slightly or have suddenly taken on a strong head wind. Then, about a minute later, the "head wind" vanishes and everything's normal. It's enough that I have to apply slightly greater pressure to the accelerator to maintain speed, but then have to decrease pressure after the aforementioned minute to keep from accelerating. As far as maintenance goes, I've personally done just about every bit of work on the car since 34,000 miles so I know it's not a bad plug/wire, dirty air filter, plugged PCV...etc. Still gets 22-25mpg, pulls strongly if I hammer on it, idles quietly and smoothly enough that people who have borrowed it think it isn't running, no CEL... What do you guys think?

I've had the same thing happen to me too. At first I thought it was the wind but it has happened a couple of times since then. Don't know what it could be.
