planning to build a JDM front grill for the Gen 1.5

I dont think there is an authentic front mesh for the Gen 1.5 Solara, as is the case with the Camrys. I plan on making a couple of these Gen 1.5 JDM grills.

yeap it's called a renova... but they stopped making it. I've seen some members on the boards make their own version of the renovas too. it looks pretty dope on the gen1/1.5's!

The Gen 1.5 grill does not fit on the Gen 1.

I assume the Renova front grill was only for the Gen 1 and not for the 1.5

yea ive never seen an aftermarket grill on the gen 1.5

there's a thread somewhere that someone has of it

also just because its mesh or custom doesn't make it JDM lol

already started building, half way complete..........looking real good.

went on ebay to see the prices of a stock solara grill, they want like $100 shipped.......

A simple 2001 Toyota Camry grill goes for $30 shipped.

^ i disagree.
in the link, it does say 99-03, but it fits the gen 1's and that is what car is in the picture. that is not a gen 1.5, the headlights clearly give it away. im 95% sure of this. i have never seen an aftermarket gen 1.5 grill. there have been a few custom jobs though.
