Warning lights on?

Warning lights on?

Postby LatinDragonXJC » Thu Sep 17, 2009 3:37 pm

Today while parking my "check engine" light came on, i didnt pay much mind. i made a mental note to get the codes read. now about 5 minutes ago while attempting to gun it, my car started bucking......WTF?! It has never happen before. then i noticed my "Trac Off" light came on. I tried press the trac off button numerous times and no change.

any ideas why the Trac Off would stay lit like that?

(sorry for the horrible typing, im on my phone)

TRAC OFF light staying on means "Seek service at your closest Toyota service station"...or something to that effect.

Mine stayed on for my 02 sensor, which the CEL always comes on first.

Thanks, does this mean the Traction control is actually off or just the light coming up as a warning.

How expensive are 02 sensors for our cars? They were replaced when I first bought the car by the dealership, this was in 2005.
