Question about Flex Pipe and Catalytic Converter Replacement

Hi all, my name is Luke and I currently own 2000 I4 Solara.
My car is not in a great condition inside and out, and it's getting fixed one by one.
I will post some pics as well as my greeting shortly

Long story short,
The cat converter was broken long time ago, and I can hear really annoying squeaking noise everytime I hit even a little bump.
I didn't care that much because it still passes inspection.

However, yesterday my lara turned to a Harley, and it still sounds just like a motorcycle. Later that day, I found out that flex pipe is the problem.

Since I am a poor college student, I went to a muffler shop in junk yard for estimate. They offered me to weld new parts for $260, and offered $70 installation charge if I provide the parts.

I found that this one is the perfect fix since it replace whole front exhaust parts with new pipe.

They are the other option if I only want to replace the those two.

Here is my question.
1. I want to minimize the cost and want to get a universal cat converter and universal flex pipe. What will be the wise choice? To fix the annoying squeaking noise, I think that it needs to be professionally installed. I will let mechanics to install.

2. What size do I need to get if I want to buy flex pipe and cat converter separately?

Thank in advance for your help and comments.

i think the price is pretty decent.

The flexpipe is an expensive piece. A friend got one done at a local shop for 160 for the flexpipe welded on.

The Cat on the other hand is also expensive, but im not too sure about the ball park of it.
