Maintenance suggestion (pre-owned with no history, 58k)

I bought a pre-owned 2001 Solara Convertible V6 August last year. It had 58k on it and I drove it for another two months before I left for vacation and then stored it in my garage for winter. (it has 59.5k on it now)

I have absolutely no information about how the last owner maintained the car, and now that it was sitting for half a year, I figure it is a good idea to do some maintenance and inspection. Below is something I think of doing, I'm wondering if you guys have anything to add to it?

2008 Aug (just before I purchase the car):
Oil changed by dealer (conventional oil I suppose)
Brake pad changed
Inspection done by dealer, all good
New wiper

Things I planned to do:
Change air filter (Toyota factory filter)
Change oil (Mobil 1 + K&N oil filter)
Change coolant (Toyota pink coolant)
Change steering fluid (any suggestion on what to buy?)
Lubricate door hinges etc

One thing you can reference is the suggested maintenance manual that comes with the car. That could give you a basic guideline to go by as well as the things you already have planned.

I'd also check (not necessarily change) the plugs to see how they're wearing to give you a timeline on when you'll need to do that and change the wires when you change the plugs.
Another common thing is the fuel filter. I think they're supposed to be changed around 50k-60k miles if the previous owner never did it.
Also the transmission fluid is supposed to be changed around 60k, but you can check the color of it to see if it's time. If it's a reddish color and seems contaminated, I'd go ahead w/ a transmission filter and flush. If it still seems pink and and contaminant free, then gauge how much time you have before a change.
Lastly I'd check the throttle plate because people frequently forget to clean the throttle body, and it can effect fuel efficiency and performance if there's some built up residue there increasing resistance. Use some throttle cleaner that's safe for EFI vehicles (it will say on the bottle.) I just used some cleaner and a toothbrush around those hinges and a rag to wipe up excess.

Those are just a few, and I'm sure you'll get more and better suggestions from some of the other guys on here. Good luck and feel free to ask questions about any methods the guys on here suggest.
I read forums more than I talk. /shame
