I get the smell when i accelerate and my rpm goes over 5K...

Maybe if you do an engine shampooing, it might help... it will also show you some other defects/porblems that you might not have noticed in the past

to "shampoo" your engine, you need to do the following:
1.get some Suave shampoo
2.rinse down engine and lather shampoo into fingers
3.rub the engine down real good, and dont forget to scrub behind those headers!!
4. rinse and let air dry, or wrap it in a towel for a stylish twist!

no man, water is good for your engine, heck I even run a water hose directly into the throttle body to clean out my retro encabulator ;)

haha j.k never wash your engine off with water, it would most likely cause electrical problems if not dried out fast .

Drain & Fill...the tranny a few times (i did three) and on the last one I replaced the gasket and filter/cleaned off the magnets

It takes 3.5 qts per drain and fill (there's a total of 12+qts in your whole auto tranny)

It would be almost pointless as there is ALOT of fluid in the torque converter. Once the engine is running, the old, nasty fluid will mix with the new, fresh fluid. INSTEAD: Disconnect the output fluid hose on the transmision and let it run into a 5 gal bucket while you run the engine. continue adding more fluid at about the same rate that it is draining out into the bucket. Once it runs clean, you are done. Don't forget to reconnect that hose, though

Damn, you still using your retro encabulator??? I remember when my uncle assembled the flux capacitors for those units, and that was 20+ years ago.... lmao
