Headlight and Fog Light Problem

Headlight and Fog Light Problem

Postby nguyenSTX » Mon Dec 15, 2008 6:48 pm

My driver side headlight is really dim and both my fog lights are out. Heres the story... I'm using Nokya bulbs for headlights and Fogs, a fog light went out because the socket melted. So I replace both fog light socket with Nokya heavy duty harness. I also got some plug N Play harness for the headlights. Everything worked for one day. Now both fog light are out and one headlight looks like it's stuck in DRL mode. Any one got any ideas?

Things I've tried
Tested several different bulbs + a new set of bulbs.
Check Fuses
Remove the plug and play harness on headlights.

Any advice would be great, Thanks!

You probably have a burned running light unit. Either that or you burned a ground somewhere. The running light unit is under the dash, but you have to take the radio out to get to it.

My guess is you burned more than your sockets the first time. Those Nokia bulbs are junk, and shoudl not be used unless you use additional relays, and harnesses.
