Newly Supercharged

I just bought a TRD Supercharger and after the installation the car feels like the RPMs fluctuate but the gage barely shows it going up and down. Its kind of annoying and I need some help tuning my car so that the fuel flow is consistent. Any other advice or tips I should know (ie. use 93 Octane) please give me a heads up. Thank you guys.

YES! another boosted 1mz in the tri-state.

If u can bring it over to CT we can have a look at it and see what the problem is...but off hand, did u hook up the TB and wat not correctly? Can u tell us more about what happens when u give the throttle some play?'

Id say something with the TB or check ur vaccume lines, because it sounds like a vaccume leak or inappropriate vaccume hook up.

HAHA I'm just as excited. Truly I'm uncertain what it could be. Mostly my friend installed it but we checked all the hoses/lines and everything seemed fine. I may probably just need a tune up or new spark plugs. The fluctuation isn't too bad but its still something that bothers me a bit. It definitely increased the acceleration. How does your supercharger feel?

maybe its just a wild guess, but did you still have some crappy gas in there? I know that was my problem as I had 87 at the time when i popped in the s/c. Put in the goos stuff but didnt feel right till 2-3 tanks later

At the moment I have 89 in the gas tank. I'm 3/4 full so I'm going to fill up 93 over and over again. This morning when I turned on the car it was fluctuating a lot more than yesterday and almost felt like it was going to turn off. Did yours run that bad?

actually since you've got 3/4 full, i'd throw in maybe 2 bottles of octane booster and top it off with 91+. I bet you its your gas thats causing your problems. Like me, go good stuff from now on and your problem should clear in the nest 1-2 tanks

becareful....if you have low octane gas in there and you're experiencing strange rpm and power problems, it's more than likely your knock sensors pulling timing and dumping fuel....

keep it up and you'll probably blow a knock sensor
