so im helping my friend out with his 97 Lexus LS 400, and made a post on club lexus forums to help find some answers. After perusing through their recent threads, I just wanna say that I'm extremely proud of us as a community haha. 99 % seemed to be things like, "how do i change the low beam?" or "my brakes squeak, whats the problem?" only 1 in maybe 60 had to do with anything that required more then common sense. We seem to have accquired a vast amount of technical know-how on this site in a short time period, and furthermore, we tend to do the majority of the work ourselves.

give your self a pat on the back - go us. haha

Now that's love.
where many hate, few will love,
But for those who love,
they'll see what it's like to live.

Yes, this is true to an extent.

We do have more "technical" based info rather than small "oh no what does this gas light do" info.

We are also a much much smaller community.

Dawgz is right, we are an extremely small community compared to many other boards, but i kind of like that part of it.

Being someone that's never really wrenched on a foreign car before I gotta say this is a killer site. I've learned more than I'll ever use. I know I never really have much to contribute mechanically (mostly i just get in the way) but I do love the site, even when it gets silly you just get a family feeling. So thanks for puttin up with me and kudos to the site.
