The rear is a bench on the convertible. I almost want to say no... but the front should be fine.

what do we have in a the coupe? does bench mean its flat all the way across?

Dunno about the Gen 1s, but the Gen 2 convert's have a strap for the seatbelt on the upper corners that I'm not sure would be on the sedan since you have a roof and possibly B pillars that we don't.

Yeah, the rear back seat of the convertible go all the way across instead of a 60/40 split seat, not to mention that the convertible has a different seating configuration; don't remember if there's either no center seat belt or lap-only belt.

I believe the center seat is a little narrower. I know for a fact the Gen 2 rear seat is different. Making the convertible a 4 seater and the coupe a 5 seater.

they are different. I would check to make sure that the wiring is the same, especially for the safety system?
