My car just put out P0135. I know its bank 1 sensor 1 located near the firewall.

Can someone give me the oem product number for this O2 sensor, and brand(bosch/denso)?

Ive tried the search but have not been getting any luck.

Plus have a cali spec solara in canada(strange but i know other people on hear have the same issue)

That's the same one that's bad on mine too. A pain to get too and to change. The toyota shop said , "don't worry about it, so you run a little rich" They tried taking it off but was hard too and he was afraid he was going to snap it or strip the threads so he wants me to buy the ( what's the o2 plugged into?) well both those part's before taking it off.

Is he bs ing me?

It's really not that hard to change, it is a tight squeeze if you have large hands like me but I was still able to change mine. You will get a couple of scrathes but I think it's well worth it not to pay someone else to do it for you.
The sensor is expensive enough (mine was about $200 from the dealer) I can't imagine paying someone a labor fee on top of that.

would an O2 simulator be a quick fix to this problem? or would that just complicate things more?

i've been putting off fixing my own p0135 cel for a while now.

I replaced mine with a denso universal 4 wire O2 sensor works fine. its not that hard and I do have big hands. got it off ebay for 25shipped. my toyota oem plug went out after 15 months...probally a lemon but out of warrenty, out of 250$$
