Well things start by the damn car having a bad rod knock 2 weeks after the mustang got totaled. (awesome luck) I spend $1300 on another one from a place in CA that has significantly less miles on it, and came out of a car that had rear end damage. Well the motor gets here last week, and my friend calls me with some news.....They sent the wrong engine. No biggie, everyone makes mistakes. So I call em' back and they're helpfull and understanding as I was too. They ship the right engine out, and take the old one back. The new one gets here early this week. Well I get my car to the shop this morning, and they pull out the engine, and start swapping things over to the new one. Before they go to put the new one in, he wants to make sure everything runs right, and turns smooth.......the engine is locked up. Won't turn. They tried a 3ft pry bar to break it loose and it didn't work.

i called the guys back and they said it shouldn't have been locked up, it's been sitting on a shelf for around a year, and was ran before it was taken out. Well now i have a $1300 engine that isn't work crap.

the guys are still polite and he said he wasn't going to try to screw me over, and he'd refund me if that's what I want, and there's no need for me to get mad cause crap happens. So I'll probably just do that, and have them come pick it up and I'll have to find another one somewhere. I have one local, but it's $300 more.

just thought i'd share

Ouch... Sorry that happened... Wish you the best of luck; at least the people there are understanding about it though.
