Fog in corner / turn signal light

Fog in corner / turn signal light

Postby Kenz » Fri Aug 31, 2007 9:46 am

I just replaced my passenger side corner light last month, because it had a small crack in it, and was letting water in. Just this week after driving in the rain I noticed my driver side has fog in it now too.

I don't see any cracks or anything, but I can see some water in it and its foggy.

Can I fix this or am I going to have to buy another new corner light?

Oh, and before anyone tells me to search... I did one, but all I could find was a bunch of stuff about clear corners.

water could be comin up through under your car beneath the plastic piece. in the winter snow got up through mine and even til this day my passenger side fog isn't completely dry or fog free.

Water COULD also be getting through the part between the bulb and the housing.

I am having the same problem, there are water droplets in my corners, and I am not sure why, it the units seem sealed, clear corners seem intresting, I need to go take a look at some examples,I wonder is I can dry out the ones I have now?

Does no one see the 2 rubber spouts that are there? They are connected 2 holes that allow for the lamp to vent the moisture.
