Gauge Cluster Lighting

Does any one have any tips on getting a brighter dash, I replaced the stock light bulbs in my gauge cluster with blue bulbs but they are dark so i tried blue leds and still not what I want any one have any tips :-?

white LEDs are brighter than the blue

If you have black guages change them to white. Makes a big diffference as the light reflects much better. Good luck.

MIght have to I have tried the stock bulb dont like the amber color then i tried blue blubs y not they were to dark then I went to blue leds nice rich color but even harder to see so now i am at wite leds and l like the wite but still to dark i dont want to go darker then stock b/c then it is to hard to see.

If thats STILL too dark for you then go for the ricer indiglo gauges lol

the gauges slip right over the current gauges you have.... its just the wiring thats the pain... there is a FULL tutorial that 2 ppl made.... you know where to find them

now other than Ebay where can I buy a set of reverse glow gauges? I do not have an ebay/paypal account. just ca$h and debit. those things are easier for me.

ok on a scale of 1 to 10; 10 being the brightest the stock green light is at a 6 wile now i am at a 4.5 with the white and the blue was at a 3

www.procarparts.com (i think thats their web site)
do some research on it for pics, wiring tutorials, etc before you buy it

damm man you must to retro some freakin HIDs behind your gauges to satisfy ur eyes LOL

You can always do some custom work to get the desired look. I have blue LED gauges that are pretty damn bright. Here's some pics.

where did you get the leds. I was wondering can you hook up the wires to were the stock blulb plugs into

The LEDs are from eBay. But I soldered 4 of them together in series to add up to 12volts. Then soldered them to the circuit board on the back of the gauge cluster. I too couldnt find any direct replacement LEDs that were bright enough.

ok just ordered the blue leds of ebay i am going to try to put them in behind the cluster oh any tips on were to put the leds
