lmao they stay on bra, the little sensor in the corner detects the night time and keeps them on,
put the headlight switch in off position and turn the car off and take the key out
is the only way to turn them off @ night.
or you could have that sensor taken out.

The only way that you can kind of "bypass" the sensor, is to do this:

1. get into your car and pull up your hand brake until you hear the first click. Do not put it higher than the first click.

2. start your car. you should see the "BRAKE" indicator on your speedometer display. from this state your headlights will have the function to be turned on and off, as long as you do not take the hand break off.

For those of you thinking how would one drive with the hand brake on; one click of the hand brake, isn't enough to lock the wheels (or come close to it).

Unplug the sensor on the dash and the resistor under the hood.
Only takes a minute.
Trust me, I'm a technician.

I don't have pics and can't take any right now, but I'll try to explain.

The sensor is the reddish dome shaped thing on the passenger side of the dash toward the windshield. Pry it up and out of the dash, then unplug it.

The resistor is basically in the same place as the sensor, but on the opposite side of the firewall. Pop the hood and look for it. It is a small metal thing on a bracket with one grey plug and a yellow "caution hot!" sticker. Unplug that and you're done.

Yoyoyo sorry to gravedig but this thread is so relevantz.

I'm on the same mission myself, I got the sensor on the dash ezpz.

I see the bracket under the hood with the yellow caution sticker. Is the grey plug the one directly in front of it (and attached to the side of the yellow caution bracket?) or is there actually a plug under the sticker that I can't see?
