ah yea i wouldn't do that any quicker than i'd jack up the front end by the radiator. just seems like it could go wrong.

He's kitted and can't clear anything, otherwise I'm sure he woulda thought about ramps.

Canadians say oil pan instead of gas tank? That's interesting. Any other language differences in canadian english vs american english?

Gas tank, oil pan, radiator, or any other areas are not ment to hold the weight
you will punture through and cause damage

Image...this is what i picture reading this post

if you are that low then cut 10" pieces of 2x4 and carry them in your trunk.
when you need to use your jack just place them in front of your wheels and drive over them.
That should give you the inch clearance that you need.

or buy some ramps like these Image
