Have you tried putting the stock intake back on?

Yes, I'm definitely going to do it tomorrow, whenever I get back from helping my friend move. Also, I am going to order the Jim's fuel mod and at least put that in before I get around to putting the intake back in. I might even get an SAFC2 before that to be on the safe side; I definitely don't want to make any more mistakes, as I am too enthusiastic about her to risk catastrophic failure. :D

I say figure out the problem before you start adding more parts. The fuel mod and safc2 will help when it comes to more power and the engine being safer in general, but if there's something wrong, other mods might not do anything for you, or may even exaggerate it. Put the stock intake back on first to rule it out. Its pretty hard to mess that up, but who knows, it could be an intermittent electrical issue with the MAF

Yeah the car ran flawlessly with the stock intake in, but then again the car has yet to pull timing in any situation other than at the track. However, the return of gas mileage to normal levels is enough to convince me to put the stocker back in tomorrow, for the time being.
