Thanks. It was a lot of work and about a week ago when the tires were being installed, I found out that either the power steering pump or a hose going to it is leaking, all over the area I cleaned. No good deed goes unpunished and I guess I have some more repairing and cleaning to do, huh.

Yeah, I don't believe the 143 hp measurement, but hey the tool came with the diagnostic tool I bought, so it was sort of free. I also reviewed my previous tests and found that I had entered 7.83 for the gear ratio. I entered 8 for this test. That will bring the measurement up a bit, but I doubt it will bring it to 170.

If anyone's interested, I got 23.8 on the next tank. Could be the ECU is still relearning from the battery disconnect or the difference in gas pumps or maybe I drove more conservatively. Either way, this is closer to normal gas mileage for me around town.
