Ive searched and still cant find an answer

Postby Billdo » Sun Jun 05, 2011 8:49 am

Hey guys, Ive done some searching via this board as well as a few other Toyota related boards and Im coming up empty. I am trying to aim the headlights on my 1.5 and I dont see anything on the housing to aim them. The owners manual says they dont need aiming and if they do to bring it to the dealer. F that. Anyone have a clue? I know with the 1 gen there is a 8mm bolt I believe but I see no such thing on the 1.5 and Im tired of people flashing me because they think I have my high beams on. Thanks in advance for any help I may receive.

i just popped my hood and took a quick look, ive never adjusted mine before, but i would suspect the screw that goes in the assembly from the back, and is located towards the top, kind of between the high beam and low beam. it looks like it has a locking or geared washer to keep the setting. but thats just a guess after a quick glance under the hood.
