Car shakes...tires/balancing/alignment ruled out

Postby kilade » Mon May 16, 2011 4:30 pm

So my car shakes around 55-65mph and smooths out after that. The car only shakes when I accelerate through 55-65mph such as merging into the highway. I got a new set of tires, balanced and re-balanced my tires, alignment checked. What else can be attributing to my car shaking?? The steering wheel does not shake. It seems like it is coming from the front driver side. I jacked up the car and there is a little play when I agitate the front driver wheel. So could it be a wheel bearing or another nearby component? Also could it be a motor mount? Any other suggestions? Please help, I'm commuting 2 hrs a day for the next 6 weeks and this is annoying the hell out of me.

Wheel hub/bearing. I had this in another camry, drove like 50k on it. Darn thing just won't die! Anyways, better get it fixed, for security/safety reason. Good luck!
