Rotor Disk scratched.

Well this has been an issue since 3 weeks now, So heres the problem, when driving or slowing down i can hear scratching sounds coming from my rear passenger side wheel, I thought it was a simple problem meaning it was time to get new brakes. So i bought new brakes and blah blah blah, hoping the noise would go away, but while changing the breaks i noticed that the rotor disk was scratched really deep. so i hoped it wasnt the problem, After doing the proper brake change i took it around the block. But no, the noise was still there and it was loud and annoying, what could it be?

edit: By the way the ABS comes on and the Traction control flashes

did you change the brake pads for all 4 wheels?
and you should get that rotor checked. take it out and get it to your local auto store to see if they can machine/even it out.
it'll take an hour and for me it only cost 15 per rotor
other than that I'm stumped, you can probably get someone to stand outside of your car as you're driving to listen in on where the real source of the sound is coming from.

if you have the same brakes as me (4 wheel disc)
then maybe check the parking brake shoes?
the parking brake shoes are located inside the rear rotor, just remove the rotor. but they are a bit more complicated to change than the pads. ive also had to replace the wheel hub on my rear right corner. when i would rotate the wheel it sounded terrible. but with the brake issues that ive had and overcome with my solara, ive never had an abs light come on. also make sure you have enough brake fluid in the master cylinder. ( i had a ford one time that the abs light would come on when the fluid was low)

I agree with 02slera as it sounds like the drums (parking brake).

Well I went to a family friend mechanic and he checked my car, turns out it was the wheel bearing. I got it changed today it runs smooth . But now my abs light is still on and my traction control is still on too.

nicee maybe you should do an ecu reset?
I'm not sure how to do it but I THINK you just disconnect the negative terminal for like a minute then reconnect or you can pull it from the fuse box I think.
iono I read it somewhere on how to get rid of those pesky lights but correct me if I'm wrong anyonee
