abs and traction off light

Postby huj2000 » Mon Sep 06, 2010 9:03 pm

i have an abs light and a traction control off light that stay on ive had them for a while and i am also hearing a hissing sound from my brakes i heard from another thread that replacing the brake booster solved that problem for the hissing sound and somehow fixed a p0171 code(saying that the vacuum leak caused the p0171 code) which i also have coming up on my dash(already changed the maf sensor and both upstream o2 sensor to no avail) ,would the brake booster affect my abs or traction off light (also no the traction control off light is not because i pushed the traction off button) i know i just threw a lot out there but this car was not maintained so great before i obtained it and i got some work ahead of me, i have other problems also but i just wanted to start here any advice or helpful hints would be great thanx ahead of time
