Noisy engine start up?

Noisy engine start up?

Postby mig0s » Tue Jun 29, 2010 12:56 am

Hey guys,

It's summer and strangely my car starts up really noisy for the first 5 mins. After 10 mins when the engine is heated up, the 1mzfe turns normal but it's still "kind-of" noisy, compared to this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VbQI173uyCE

I know there might be many factors, and I'm thinking it might be the OEM timing belt? 96k miles on it. I was hoping to change it next year (I'm storing the car from november to mid march). I know my spark plugs are bad too and i'll change them hopefully next week.

Is there any other possibilities of a noisy engine start up?
