Evrytime i insert a cd it just throws it back out, or says error1.. it works after a i seriosuly insert it like 20 times...any idea what the promblem is?

Doesn't sound good.

The head unit does not see the CD.

That could be a couple of different problems.

From my experiences, it could be a dirty CD, a dirty laser lens or worse yet, a burned out laser. That would mean you need a whole new head unit.

you could try disconnecting the battery for a while then reconnecting and see if it works then. seen it work before. can't hurt to try.

my oem cd player does that too. i haven't found a way to fix it. so my only source of audio is radio or putting a cassette adapter for mp3. i'm content with radio so i just use that.
