Help! Bumping noises coming from the rear passenger side
Hey guys, I have made an account about a year and a half ago but I was unable to log in after a month so now I just made a new account.
Two nights ago, Xmas night, I was driving on a backroad in the rain and I hit a pothole which bent my 18" passenger side front rim. After I hit the pothole with my front tire, there was a bumping noise (similar to the noise caused by loose lugs, a fast bump, bump, bump noise) that appears from the passenger side rear wheel whenever I make a right turn. Sometimes the noise appear when I accelerate from a stop but not loud.
I had read that the noise may be caused by the shocks going bad. Is that the case for my Solara? and why would the noise start appearing after I hit the pothole?
Can you guys please help me and advice me as in whats making the noise and whats wrong?
Thank you guys very much!
