First of all, the right side headlight is dimmer than the other one, what could be the problem? Also, the blinker light on that same side wont stay on when the headlight at night are on. Its not the bulb because it works when i have the blinker on. Finally, i have the engine light on and hot the code, P0440. Has anyone ever had this and fixed it? I looked at it online, telling what it is, but no clear answer on how to fix it.......

If you buy a new set of headlight bulbs, not just one, it will more than likely fix your headlight problem. What has happened is that one of them has gone out sometime along the life of the car, and, whoever had it only replaced the bulb that was burnt out. Therefore, you have one old bulb which is dimmer than the new bulb. As halogen bulbs get older, they tend to dim a bit. That is my 2 cents on that.

Sounds like that headlight bulb is gonna burn out soon, as far as the turn signal, it may or may not be asociated with the headlight bulb being bad. I would just replace the headlight bulb first, and see if the turn signal still acts up.. If after replacing the headlight bulb, its still turns off, then it
probably a bad relay. That CEL code represents an Evaporative Emissions Control System Malfunction, but dont be too concerned yet, it could be as simple as the gas filler cap wasnt tightend all they way. First check your gas cap, and if its not on/tight fix that. Then disconnect your negative battery cable for one minute, and then reconnect it. Start up your car (note: it WILL idle kinda funny, this is completly normal, the ecu needs to "retune" itself) The code will most likely be gone, if it doesnt come back after a few days, then congrats. The problem was your gas cap not seating properly at some point. If it does comes back, then it could be more serious.

they were new bulbs, so it couldn't be that, thought i cant remember if i had that problem with the old bulbs. as for the turn signal, i would think it is the relay, but where can i buy a new one? cool, ill try to do that gas cap thing...by the way, what type of bulbs are for the turn signals?

for the headlight, you need to adjust the height on both so they're on the same level, park in front of a wal and turn the litle washer behind each headlight to go up/down. That should fix it.

for the corner light, i just had the same problem... but today i closed my hood and it turned on. So im pretty sure it must be one of the wires that goes inside the buld housing (i think theres 3), make sure they're all in.

for the code u need to get the transalation of it and go from there... i had a similar code i think and i put supreme gas for 2 full and it went away

for relay, go to electric store by a power check, open the relay fuse box n check, make sure u grounded ur power check on battery, use that thing n touch the fuse, if u see it flash then its good if no flash then that fuse is dead, but ur issue i dont think its relay fuse, u might want to reset ur ECU after u fix that CHECK light code.

I did this to my car n now the light is so bright like crytal shine.

To reset ur Car, unplug the battery terminal for at least 15 mins.

I think the 1157 bulb used for the corner/parking lights do have two filaments. So the blinking function and the steady state are two diffrent filaments. Try a new bulb.

I think Dawgs info is kinda correct, Did you buy the right bulbs ? most of bulbs on ur car are different.

Just unplug the battery terminal and leave it for 10 15 mins everything will reset and relearn.

Grounded means every power check or thunder-grounded must have a way in and a way out incase if it burn/damage out, the automotive power check with the wire n a cliff to cliff it to battery or anywhere it connect to the ground, go to electric store ask one of the technician, they'll explain clear than online.
