I've got the 6 cd changer factory deck in my car, except I don't see JBL written anywhere. The radio just seems to have zero bass, and we did check all the settings unless I'm missing something. I'm bummed! So is it the speakers or is it the radio? Do I need an amp/upgraded amp? I'm used to my McIntosh radio in the Subaru that makes the car vibrate when you pop the right music in, like Van Halen or AC/DC. There's gotta be a way of doing that to this car...??

i replaced my stock radio/cd player with an alpine deck and it made all the difference. i never worried about replacing the speakers because the stock ones sounded great with the new cd player.

I suppose I could go that route. I was eyeing the Pioneer 500UB I think it was. It has two lines of text and allows iPod and mp3 cds. Its not like I ever use the cassette deck unless I'm using the tape to plug in my iPod anyways. So what cool things can you do with the spare din?
