Wipers acting up

I turned on my wipers yesterday and the intermitent delay does not work. They just keep going when on intermitent delay. Also, if I turn them off half way during their sweep, they just stop in the middle of the windshield instead of going back to the bottom. This just started out of nowhere.....

Any ideas?? motor (no grinding)? relay?

I'm no expert, but I always start with fuses, because they're the cheap fix. If you go that route make sure you check that you get the tiny ones that match our cars. Not the "low profile", but just the smaller version for 97+ imports.

Someone else might be able to chime in w/ more info, but that's just a suggestion.
