when i start my car after it has been sitting for a while, i get a loud clicking sound until it warms up. it sounds like its coming from my alternator. does this mean my alternator is going bad? do alternators do this when they are going bad? or is it something else? its not a valve clicking sound its louder and sounds harder. thanks in advance.
