CEL/Computer problems

I have been throwing misfire codes for a while, and the CEL was, on so I finally replaced all 3 coils, wires, plugs and a new fuel filter. It ran great, so i went back home, disconnected the battery and waited like 4 hours before reconnecting it. Get in it, let it idle for a minute. Put it in reverse and the CEL light came on again. At 4 mph I know it should not have been a misfire. Anyway I go to autoZone so they can pull the code and the scanner would not come on. I told him I had only put about 10 miles on it since I reconnected the battery, he said to come back at 50 miles.....well I go back today, and again the scanner would not power on. He had just finished with another customer so I know the scanner did work. I've got it disconnected again, maybe it wont come back on. Any ideas why the heck the computer would not connect with the scanner? The car runs a lot better than it did, but still does not run like it has a supercharger on it, there is some lag between 1500-3000 rpms. The only other code it has ever thrown was a lean bank 1.

well, I'll check into that tomorrow, but I did figure out what was throwing a code- Throttle Position Sensor. I had the nuts as close to the throttle body as they could go and I think the butterfly valve would not open up all the way. i turned the bolt adjustment on the linkage all the way to the other side and now it takes off.....and NO CEL
Time for some bourbon 8)

i wish.....dang light came back on today! I am about to hit a damn tree and just get the insurance money out of it

It feels like turbo lag. you hit the gas and it slowly gets up to 2-3k rpms and then it takes off.
