Another Headlight Problem

Another Headlight Problem

Postby nemoxfishy » Sun Nov 02, 2008 9:43 pm

Some of you may remember me posting this back a while ago. Unfortunately, I still haven't fixed the problem.
Over the past few months, I've took apart my Solara numerous times.
I still can't get my headlights to turn on from the switch... I am running HIDs, but i've also tried removing them and putting the stock bulbs in... doesn't work...
My headlights DO light up at night when the light sensor activates it...
I've also taken apart the combo switch and i found out that the headlight wire is just "DEAD" ... meaning -even when i ground it, it does nothing...
i really want to know where that wire (red/yellow) goes to...
can anyone help??
i've checked my fuses and they're fine... my headlights light up at night so i'm thinking that my fuses MUST be fine...
=[ SIGH

IF your "red/yellow" wire is just a loose, or cut wire at the signal stalk...chances are that wire needs to see a straight ground.

well, do you have a wiring diagram, if your not getting power to the bulbs trace it back to the switch and find out where your not getting power
