Does anyone know if the keys from the 2007 Toyotas will work in our cars? Gen 1 or 2? I mean the ones with buttons on the key, like this:

I think they would work, just cut and program. Thought I'd ask first though.

i doubt it but im really not sure. the 1.5 gen solaras dont have power trunk release so that button would be useless wouldnt it?

transponder wise it should program no problem. as far as the keyless features i would guess probably not.

The Gen 1 does not have the actuator for the trunk release. The 1.5 does, however.

The key fits, that I know I stuck my key in my friends 2007 Rav 4, his key doesn't have the trunk button so obviously I could get a key with out that. I do also think that the transponder would work too, like corlon said. The only thing I'm not sure of is the keyless entry remote.
