I used once when my RX300 (uses a similar 1MZFE engine to that of the Solara) was virtually stock, Torquemaster plugs, www.extremespark.com which quite a few Lexus GS owners like. I didn't see much difference with when I used them on my RX300 when it was virtually stock. But flash forward to after I did most of my major exhaust, intake and other vehicle modifications, and it wasn't quite like night and day, but the tug was noticeable, especially when I used to be running Mexican Premium Gas (there's nothing premium about it). Those plugs are also 4 prong, see my spark plug DIY for pictures of these plugs, http://www.clublexus.com/forums/showthread.php?t=264967
Thus, if you are basically stock, I don't see any reason to run 4 pronged plugs, and just stick with a good Denso or NGK.
