Hi guys,

Like some of you know 3 weeks ago a girl hit and run my car. I got my car back but there is a "loose" and I feel a "click" when I turn left to right or go over bump. The mechanic said that my "pinion" need to be replace. It is supose to be cover by the insurance..but with all the fu** that i got with my insurance, I want to know something.

Is Camry and SOlara pinion the same? what year of camry fit the Gen1 SOlara pinion? I found some on ebay for $85 so if the insurance wants me to pay I will know what price is the value.

thanks for your help..

im sure they are similar and interchangable. I say that since I've noticed that all the Gen 1/1.5 solaras I've driven i4/v6 compared to Camrys have a heavier feel to it.

Maybe the Camry's have a more boosted feel so its effortless when under a heavy load due to the car geared to haul lots of people and crap.

They should be swappable, but imo i'd prefer the Camry's rack for moar powa
