Hey guys, Im getting a sound from my front drivers side when I am on the throttle. It sounds like a humming noise. It only happens when I am accelerating and have load on the motor (ie. going uphill). I think it may be my cv joint... Does anyone have any suggestions?

Also, does anyone know how I can check to see if my catalytic converter is gonzo? Im getting a smell after heavy acceleration and I am also throwing an EVAP code, I forget the code number b/c its been on for a while but havent had any problems such as gas mileage decrease or anything of the sorts.

Thanks for any and all help guys.

could be alot of things, check the code and makes sure all hoses are pluged in. I would also check for exhuast leaks.

Your CV will pop and thud, trust me you will know when it's time to replace them. I just did a few weeks ago.
