:bday: WOW! Thanks so much. I'll get right on that, right after I replace all the fallopian tubes.

Don't forget to change the apex seals on the flux capacitor.

BTW, just as a super preventive method, do the sea foam monthly for the next three months.

Also, how do you know if the catalytic converter is clogged? My old '94 Taurus was turning itself off after a while and replacing the catalytic converters solved the problem.

It’s a pressure test. Check it after its warm an d then rev it a little and compare results to what’s in the repair manual.

Got the code checked. It said insufficient EGR flow. Asked the guy at AutoZone if he code hit reset. He declined and said they can’t do that. Sounds like a lot of BS. I took off the negative cable to reset it, and then went for a little drive to see if I could trip the CEL again, still off. I think it was a little TB cleaner still in the EGR that might have choked it up a little and tripped the light.

I’ll be keeping an eye on it, and my MPGs as well.

I think that is BS. I've never had a guy tell me he couldn't clear codes...

loads of bs but true. Unless you have buddy or he's a newbie, they will not reset codes.
on the other hand at least you were able to pull the code
